The annual meeting of the membership of the cameron crossing owner's association is scheduled for Thursday, March 5th, 2009 beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Old Township Hall at 6759 Wood Street in Goshen.

During the "hurricane" that swept thru the area in September 08 many areas were unprepared. During those days Goshen Township was flooded with phone calls from residents for help and assistance.

G.E.M.N.A.P. is the solution Goshen Township has developed to simply provide the necessary help, in future public emergencies, in a practical, organized and timely manner. Imagine a network of people who you know and trust looking out for you in a time of public emergency. This is the goal of G.E.M.N.A.P.

For those who want to help in an emergency to those needing assistance (i.e., need electricity to power medical equipment). You can register and get more details at www.goshen-ohio.gov/gemnap.cfm.

The community looks beautiful at night with all the lights. Take a tour at night sometime to check out all the light displays. If nothing else at least check out Dorset. What a fun time of year.

The township trustees met last night. Trick or Treat for the township is set for Friday, October 31, 2008, from 6 to 8PM.

As a courtesy to the HOA board and to Towne Properties and to prevent any confusion I'll be adding a disclaimer to the site to make sure everyone is aware that this site was created by the community for the community and is in no way tied to Towne Properties or the HOA Board. Any complaints or issues that you need addressed by either one of them will have to go through official means outside of this site. There will be more details and links later once I gather all the needed information.

I think the website thing is going pretty well, and doesn't need much of my attention anymore so now I'm going focus on helping people get emails and subdomains. What this means is that we have available to have cameroncrossing.com email addresses. So if you want YourName@cameroncrossing.com then I can make it happen. Also if you want your own website http://YourName.CameronCrossing.com I can make it happen. And it doesn't have to be your name, it can be anything you want.

So far the website seems to be off to a good start. There's been more activity than I thought there would be. If you haven't already done so go ahead and make an account and login so you can keep track of what's new. You can also use the Recent Posts to the left to see what's new. And remember the site is here for you so feel free to start a discussion on anything you like in the forums.

Bare with me these first few days. I'm going to be changing the website around a lot as I see trends in it's use and ways to make improvements. Also if you have any suggestions please let me know in the website section of the forums. You can also send me an email with the website feedback link in the bottom right corner of the page. I can also create subdomains and email addresses for anyone too.

The first newsletter has hit the mailboxes. Personally I think it was a great success. I know it wasn't much, but I promise it will get better. It was mostly just to get the word out about the website. Think of the August newsletter as practice for September's newsletter. If you have anything you want in the next newsletter discuss it in the forums.
